You said sorry for what you did,
and I forgave you.
You said to always send you messages
and that you'd wait for the reply,
but I never got a response to that last one.

It's been several years back then.
It had only been a year since I'd left that time.
Now that I'm permanently gone,
I suppose you would've erased me out of your memory.
I did try to keep in contact,
and visit when I went back,
but I was told you always changed numbers,
so everyone lost track.

But now that I've tried,
am I meant to leave this behind?
Or shall I just wait till another day?
